Chicago weather radar issues thunderstorm warning

Yes, friends, a warning has been issued because some strong thunderstorms appeared on the Illinois-Wisconsin border.

Due to very strong thunderstorms along the Illinois-Wisconsin border that can hit the city at any time.

Keeping this in mind, the Chicago Weather Radar has issued this warning and asked everyone to take precautions.

The National Weather Service also forecast a severe storm and issued a 7:30 p.m. warning to Cook, DuPage and Will counties.

ABC7 meteorologist Larry Maury has said during this entire incident that this severe storm is coming at a speed of 30 to 40 mph.

If NWS reports are to be believed, they are predicting this storm to be up to 60 mph.

Route 38 in west suburban Geneva is in bad shape and trees on that route are being felled by strong winds.
